Young people in Kyiv plan to set a Ukrainian first aid record

On 10 November 2024, 500 young people in Kyiv are planning to set a Ukrainian record for the largest number of people simultaneously receiving first aid training during a full-scale invasion. The event is being organised by the NGO Ukrainian Students for Freedom in partnership with the World Records Book.

The event will include a conference on first aid in a major war. Participants will include students from Kyiv universities, activists from NGOs and other young people who are not indifferent, who will be able to join both live in Kyiv and online.

The lecture part will provide an understanding of how first aid differs from tactical medicine on the battlefield, address issues of individual freedom, and provide a basis for practical training in first aid skills.
