Ukrainian Christmas Record Set!

On January 13, 2024, in the Strylkivska community of Lviv region, a new national record was set in the category “For the First Time”: the largest collective performance of the carol Tam vo Bakhmuti by Christmas nativity groups in Ukraine and abroad, featuring the traditional Christmas star.

The initiative was led by Father Roman Ivanovych Hrom and Father Ivan Nestorovych Halyio.

The goal of this record was to unite as many nativity groups as possible and to raise funds for Ukraine’s 80th Brigade as part of the “Christmas Birds” festival. The event successfully raised over 3 million UAH to provide specialized equipment for the military.

Record Highlights:

– Number of participants: 1,259
