1086 people from 47 countries simultaneously performed the song «In the meadow, a red kalyna»and set a world record dedicated to the Constitution Day of Ukraine.
The central location of the event in Lviv hosted a live broadcast of the online marathon, where participants from all over the world congratulated Ukraine and Ukrainians and performed the famous song simultaneously. There were 60 locations in total, including four in Ukraine. Even soldiers from Avdiivka, as well as residents of Zhytomyr and Stryi joined the record.
The purpose of the action was to unite Ukrainians around the world and raise funds for the project “1000 Cars of Freedom”, initiated and organized by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi and the head of the NGO “Dobro.Diy” Ihor Dulyn with the support of the International School of Management and the Lviv Defense Cluster.
At the event, 20 equipped vehicles were presented, which were immediately sent to the front line.
The record was initiated by the International Headquarters of Assistance to Ukrainians. The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Lviv Regional Military Administration. Partners: “Halytska Svyzhyna”, “Business Woman” magazine and NGO “Dobro.Diy”.
