On 4th March the Director General of the Book of World Records announced the results of the record ‘The largest number of people united in a prayer for Ukraine at the initiative of the PEACE Committee of Ukraine’, which took place on 24th February, the day before the 2nd anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The result: 13,961 people in 50 countries. And that is a world record!
Hanna Krysiuk congratulated the initiator of the record, Yulia Gershun, founder of the international organisation PEACE COMMITTEE OF UKRAINE, and thanked all participants and organisers for their participation in the record.
On that day, many more people were united in prayer for Ukraine, but in the consolidation of the live broadcast, 13,961 people joined and confirmed their participation. During the week, the number of participants was also checked and counted according to the record-breaking protocols. Therefore, I would like to thank everyone who participated in the event: the team that worked on its organisation, the Ukrainian diaspora that joined the initiative, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine for their support, as well as the creative teams of the Ukrainian National Choir named after H. Veriovka and the children of the creative association PARADISE, who were sung by the whole world,” said Hanna Krysiuk.
Mrs Krysiuk thanked the World Record team and the whole world for uniting in prayer for Ukraine and supporting the record.
We believe that the Almighty will save our country.
Together to victory! Glory to Ukraine!
