On October 24, 2025, a new Ukrainian record was set at the “Morshyn-Prikordynnyk” sanatorium in Morshyn, Lviv region. Olga Bodnar, a representative of the World Records Book, together with Nadiya and Ivan Lozan, also representatives of the World Records Book, recorded the largest volume of traditional Boyko mushroom soup in Ukraine as part of a cultural and veteran initiative dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language.
The soup — an authentic dish of Carpathian cuisine — symbolizes the heritage of the Boyko region and unites generations. The preparation was carried out by veterans together with Boyko masters, highlighting the unity of culture, strength of spirit, and national identity.
The record volume of the soup reached 317 liters, with 194 people participating in its preparation. The record was registered in the “Size” category.
This record combines the culinary tradition of the Boyko region with a veteran context, giving it unique socio-cultural value and providing resources for veteran rehabilitation.
