The International Project “Book World Records” Was Presented at the Second Ukrainian Book Festival in Milan

On May 30–31, Milan hosted the Second Ukrainian Book Festival, which brought together over thirty authors from Ukraine, as well as publishers, diplomats, and guests from various countries. The event served as a platform for cultural diplomacy, focusing on the visibility of Ukrainians abroad and the development of international initiatives.

As part of the festival, during the panel discussion “Manifesto of Visibility: Why the Ukrainian Voice Must Sound Loud,” the international project “Book of World Records” and its printed edition, “100 Records of Ukraine and the World,” were officially presented.

The discussion featured representatives and multiple record holders of the Book of World Records, who actively shape a positive image of Ukraine in Europe:

  • Nadiia Bereziuk — Director of “Business Woman” magazine in Italy;
  • Anna Voronova — Director of “Business Woman” magazine in Portugal;
  • Oksana Schoorlemmer — Director of “Business Woman” magazine in Germany, multiple record holder of Ukraine and the world;
  • Liudmyla Shanska — Head of the “Zarmilkas” brand, member of the “Business Woman Club,” and multiple world record holder of the Book of World Records.

The presentation of this international project garnered significant interest among visitors and guests, opening new pathways for integrating Ukrainian culture into the European space. The organizers and ambassadors detailed the core concept of the publication, which aims to showcase vital socio-cultural and business achievements to the world.

The participants presented inspiring stories already featured in the pages of the edition. Additionally, during the event, Oksana Schoorlemmer and Liudmyla Shanska shared their experience in organizing international record-breaking projects and presented record-setting shirts by the “Mamyna Sorochka” brand alongside brooches from “Zarmilkas.”

The panel participants noted that registered Ukrainian records serve as an effective tool for cultural diplomacy, demonstrating the potential of Ukrainian communities globally and fostering ongoing international cultural dialogue.
