On June 3, in the city of Calella (Barcelona, Spain), a official Record of Spain was registered in the categories “First Time” and “Mass Events” — “The Largest International Peace March within the ‘Children’s Palms for Peace’ Project.”

The record holders are the Public Organization “Universe with Ukraine,” led by Svitlana Merzlova, and the “Associació Ucraïnesa Razom,” led by Nataliia Kushniruk.

The event brought together 1,450 participants who joined the peaceful march, carrying 129 canvases adorned with children’s handprints—symbols of peace, kindness, hope, and unity. Children and participants from 30 countries, along with dozens of different organizations, contributed to creating these canvases, expressing their vision of a peaceful future through art.

The event united the Ukrainian community, residents of Spain, representatives of public organizations, volunteers, and guests around a shared vision of supporting peace and international solidarity.

Special Guests: Vitaliy Tsymbaliuk, the Consul of Ukraine in Spain, and the Deputy Mayor of Calella honored the event by leading the front row of the march.

The record was officially registered by the Book World Records. This event was not only a record-breaking achievement but also a powerful international symbol of unity, support for children, and the pursuit of peace without borders.

Our heartfelt congratulations to the organizers, participants, and everyone who contributed to setting this important record!
