Nearly 8 Kilograms of Mozzarella: Ukraine Record Set in Lviv!

On June 20, a new Record of Ukraine was officially registered in Lviv under the categories “First Time” and “Dimensions” for the “Largest Craft-Produced Mozzarella Cheese Ball.”

The record-breaking mozzarella ball, weighing 7 kg 980 g, was created at the “Syrovarnia” (Cheesery) restaurant. This achievement is a first for Ukraine in this category, showcasing the exceptional skill of Ukrainian cheesemakers.

The record-holders are the team at “Syrovarnia” restaurant who crafted this massive cheese ball. Diplomas from the Book of World Records were awarded to the restaurant and its team members, including owner Olha Melnyk, head chef Dmytro Kozyr, and cheesemakers Oksana Boiko, Oksana Cherniavska, and Mariia Petrushkevych.

The record was officially verified by Snizhana Rozsudovska and Bohdan Kysil, representatives of the Book of World Records in the Lviv region.

This new milestone serves as a brilliant example of the growth of Ukrainian craft production and the mastery of Lviv cheesemakers, who have once again proven their ability to impress not only with taste but also with scale.
