LLC “Batkivshchyna” Sets Ukraine’s Highest Corn Yield Record

In the village of Kalyuzhyntsi, Chernihiv region, LLC “Batkivshchyna” together with the Bayer agricultural holding set a new Ukrainian record for maximum corn yield — 21.42 t/ha. By using the hybrid Dekalb – DKC 4712, the agricultural team proved that Ukrainian farming is capable of truly record-breaking results.

The following individuals received awards for the achievement:

  • Mykola Mykhailovych Dmytrenko, founder and head of LLC “Batkivshchyna”;
  • Vitalii Yarmoshenko, leading key account manager representing Bayer.

Those who also played a significant role in achieving the record:

  • Volodymyr Volodymyrovych Yakymenko, chief agronomist at LLC “Batkivshchyna”;
  • Dmytro Tretiatchenko, PhD student at NUBiP of Ukraine, researcher who assisted in organizing the record and supporting communication throughout the process.

The record was officially verified by Yelyzaveta Omelchenko, Executive Director of the World Record Book, with the award ceremony held alongside Olena Panchenko, Head of the Sribne Village Council.

But behind this achievement stand far more than numbers. It reflects 25 years of dedicated work with the land, hundreds of committed employees, and the love and humanity that the agricultural workers of LLC “Batkivshchyna” pour into their daily labor. Thanks to their professionalism and devotion, the land yielded a truly record harvest.
