Kharkiv mural created by the largest number of co-authors

During the exhibition of plaster paintings ” Pinakothek 2021″ dedicated to the topic “Zapalyui Svitlo”, the representatives of the “Book of Records of Ukraine” registered a new record of Ukraine – a huge mural (monumental painting), placed in the middle of the building was painted by the largest number people. By the way, the results were verified in more than 40 countries, thus a world record was set – the achievement was unique, and secured the status of “World Record”.

“During all 6 days of the exhibition, everyone could cooperate with the organizers and paint a separate piece of the mural. Since everyone loves to paint – both adults and children were engaged, so it was a large number of the co-authors. If the visitors of the exhibition wanted to paint some details on top of the painting, they were provided with the scaffolding,”- stated the record holders.

In total, 368 people took part in the creation of the mural in 6 days, which is confirmed by the statistics. These data was collected by the “Book of Records of Ukraine” for further examination in the hope to document is as both Ukrainian and world record. According to the results of the examination, the record turned out to be unique both for Ukraine and for the world. Thus, the Kharkiv mural, created by the largest number of co-authors, received the status of both Ukrainian and world record.

The new Ukrainian and world record has been registered in the category “Art, mass events”. Recorded results: number of co-authors – 368 people. Place of established record – Kharkiv, Ukraine. Date – March 20, 2021.

The exhibition was organized by Atlant and Caparol companies: the latter provided environmentally friendly and durable paints for the mural. Well-known Kharkiv artist, lecturer at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, Anastasia Khudyakova was involved in the project.

It will be recalled that the Pinakoteka exhibition was held for the first time in 2019. It entered the “Book of Records of Ukraine” as “An event held for the first time in Ukraine.” In 2019, the organizers of the Pinakothek 2019 were Atlant and Caparol companies.
