Today, on September 16, a record was officially registered in one of Kyiv’s high schools: “The largest online and offline safety training for middle school students from all districts of Kyiv.”

A total of 136 schools from the capital took part, with 5,884 student participants.
The record-setting initiative was organized by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) in Kyiv.
Anna Krysyuk, the CEO of the World Records Book, congratulated the record holders. She presented certificates to Serhii Kryvyshlykov, the head of the Kyiv Garrison, for his initiative, as well as to the principal of one of the high schools for their contribution to this achievement.

Over the next week, all participants involved in setting the record will receive their official certificates.
The SES will continue educating our children on how to behave during dangerous situations. During the award ceremony, rescuers highlighted fire and gas safety. Additionally, they reminded all attendees about the rules for handling explosive materials, emphasizing what they look like, how they can be disguised, and why unknown objects should not be touched—”if it’s not yours, don’t touch it.”

They also reminded everyone of emergency service numbers, and the students actively participated by answering various safety questions.
We extend our gratitude to the initiators and participants for setting this record! Such events are crucial today, as modern realities require more knowledge of handling dangerous objects.
