March 10 in the village of Turnips of the Chernihiv region set a Ukrainian record – the largest number of fritters made in an hour on an open fire.
The initiators of the achievement were schoolchildren of the Ripky youth council under the executive committee of the Ripky settlement council.
The result of a fixed record – 912 pancakes were prepared by 10 girls in 55 minutes!
The record was set by Snizhana Rozsudovska, communications manager of the Book of World Records.
The tenacity and persistence of young people consolidated a large number of people around them. So when they set the record, they were supported by the whole community.
Together with their mentors Oleksandr Syriy and Svitlana Silenok, the children expressed a desire not only to set a record, but also to help raise funds for food kits for the project of the International Headquarters of Aid to Ukrainians.
After the award ceremony, a charity fair was held for local residents, during which UAH 6,000 was collected for the production of food kits. They will be sent by a humanitarian mission to the East for those who need them.
It is nice to realize that today’s youth are united and doing everything possible to support Ukrainians in a difficult time for our country!
