On September 21, 2025, in the city of Zhovkva at Vicheva Square, a unique Ukrainian record was officially registered – “The Largest Pair of Embroidered Candles”, which was entered into the World Records Book.

The height of the record-setting pair is 130 cm. The embroidered candles, created using traditional Ukrainian techniques, became a symbol of spirituality, light, and the pursuit of peace that Ukraine brings to the world. The initiator and creator of the record-breaking candles was Halyna Koval, who brought to life the idea of combining national craftsmanship with a symbol of unity.

Representatives of the World Records Book, including General Director Hanna Krysiuk, as well as Nadiya Lozan, Ivan Lozan, and Yelyzaveta Omelchenko, participated in the record verification. They officially confirmed the record and ensured its entry into the World Records Book.
