The European Parliament hosted a large-scale International Women’s Forum, uniting women leaders, civil society representatives, diplomats, and international partners from across the globe—including Norway, Estonia, and other European nations.
A central highlight of the event was the official presentation of the Book of World Records. Anna Krysiuk, Director General of the Book of World Records and organizer of the forum, presented the publication within the walls of the European Parliament. In her address to participants and guests, she encouraged active participation in establishing new records, emphasizing that every documented milestone serves as a powerful instrument of cultural diplomacy, drawing international attention to Ukraine’s resilience, strength, and immense potential.
The forum brought together an esteemed cohort of Ukrainian record-holders and representatives of the organization, including Liudmyla Shanska, Inna Hordiienko, Mariia Chorna, among other distinguished participants.

During the panel discussions, record-holders shared their unique experiences. Notably, Inna Hordiienko presented the global mission and international journey of the “Towel of Unity” project, highlighting how such initiatives unite Ukrainians and international partners around shared values worldwide.
Following two insightful panel sessions, forum participants were invited on a guided tour of the European Parliament. In a deeply symbolic moment, the presentation of the Book of World Records took place directly inside the Main Plenary Chamber—the very heart of decision-making for the European community.
We extend our sincere gratitude to every participant and all international partners for building lasting cultural bridges between Ukraine and Europe!
