Border guards donated 90 liters of blood and set a Ukrainian record!

On April 18, 2023, in Boryspil, Kyiv region, a Ukrainian record was set – the largest amount of blood donated by border guards in one day for wounded brothers.

In the course of the record, the following result was recorded: 90 liters of blood with the participation of 200 people.

The initiator of the event was the separate checkpoint “Kyiv” of the State Border Service.

At the start of the record, Serhiy Deyneko, the Head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, was one of the first to donate blood for his brothers.

Before the announcement of the record results, 10 tablets from the “Hearts of Freedom” charitable foundation and one drone from Lviv donors were handed over to the Donetsk Border Guard in cooperation with the head of the Lviv Regional TCC and SP Oleksandr Tishchenko as part of the “1000 Drones for Ukraine” project.

The record holders were congratulated by the General Director of the Book of World Records Hanna Krysyuk, Executive Director Yana Konyok and Oleksiy Polonchuk, head of the “Forpost UA” BO.

The record ended, but those willing to donate blood remained. Therefore, blood donation continued beyond the record.

Hanna Krysyuk thanked everyone present for a great noble cause, because their blood will save lives. And everything that saves the lives of our defenders is sacred and a priority. She also emphasized that it is the State Border Service in donating blood that sets the right example for all other state and private institutions. In this unity of ours, there is also a direction to the dream victory.
