A Ukrainian Record Set in Lviv Region for the Largest Volume of Prepared Sauerkraut

On December 3, 2025, on the grounds of the “Vezha Vedmezha” hotel and recreation complex in the Lviv region, a unique Ukrainian record was set — the largest volume of prepared sauerkraut produced in the region. The achievement was officially verified by Nadiia Lozan, a representative of the World Record Book in the Lviv region.

The record was documented in the category “First-Time Achievements, Size.”

A total of 450 liters of traditional Ukrainian sauerkraut was prepared — an unprecedented result for both the region and the country.

The record was made possible through the contributions of the following participants:
