On October 1, 2025, in Strasbourg, France, directly within the walls of the Council of Europe, a unique Ukrainian achievement was officially registered — the largest Motanka doll in the colors of Ukraine and Europe.
The record was created and executed by the artist, art doll maker, and founder and director of the Motanka Art Doll boutique and studio, Ivanna Pinyak. Her work, measuring 160 cm in height and 100 cm in width, became a symbol of the unity of Ukraine and the European community.
The record project was supported by the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to the Council of Europe, which assisted in implementing this cultural initiative.
The achievement was officially certified by representatives of the World Records Book. The record holder was congratulated and the record officially confirmed by Maria Mezentseva, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament and member of the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to the PACE.
The record carries special symbolic significance, as the Motanka doll will remain at the Council of Europe as a cultural symbol of Ukraine’s presence at the heart of the European community.
