On June 1st, the first day of summer and International Children’s Day, the World Records Book team documented a record in the “First Ever” category: The Largest UAV Made of Cupcakes, arranged by children.
The achievement was initiated by Olga Teslyak, owner of the “Krem&Djem” bakery, who, along with children, organized a large event in the Sykhiv neighborhood of Lviv.
The event was supported by Lviv entrepreneur, Konstantyn Kostyrko, owner of the “TimeForRest” leisure complex.
Olga, together with the children, prepared 800 blue-and-yellow cupcakes, which were arranged in the shape of a UAV by children from the Sykhiv neighborhood (Lviv).
The head of the Lviv Regional Council, Yuriy Kholod, participated in the record’s verification and congratulated the children on their holiday. He immediately purchased over 100 cupcakes, thus donating to the needs of the Ukrainian military. Mr. Kholod bought the largest number of cupcakes and thanked Olga for organizing such meaningful initiatives.
The record was officially documented by Hanna Krysiuk, General Director of the World Records Book, along with representatives Snižana Rozsudovska and Viktoriya Tochek. Together with Yuriy Kholod, they congratulated the children on International Children’s Day and thanked Olga and Konstantyn for organizing and holding this important event at such a crucial time.
It is worth noting that the record cupcakes were sold to raise funds for a drone, which will be sent to the front lines for the Ukrainian military.
The results of the record:
- 800 cupcakes
- UAV length: 5 meters
We congratulate the record-holders and wish them even greater achievements in life!
The event also featured creative performances with dance numbers and martial arts demonstrations.
Many children have their own records and aspire to set more. To do so, they just need to fill out the brief: https://bookworldrecords.com/yak-vstanovyty-rekord/
