On June 1st, at the Lviv Art Palace, a new Ukrainian record was set for the Largest Acrylic Painting on Flexible Glass, created by Ukrainian children and artists.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, clergy, media, and government officials, including Iryna Havrylyuk, Head of the Department of Culture of the Lviv Regional Administration.
The initiative was led by the charitable organization “Lviv Children’s Gallery,” headed by Olga Dmytrivna Mykhailyuk. The event was supported by Levko Yaroslavovych Vankovych, General Director of the Lviv Art Palace.
The record was officially documented by Hanna Krysiuk, General Director of the World Records Book, along with representatives from the book, Kostyantyn Kostyrko, Snizhana Rozsudovska, and Viktoriya Tochek.
The record-breaking painting measures 17 meters in length and 1.4 meters in height, setting a new national achievement for Ukraine!
The record was set during the grand exhibition “The Phenomenon of Children’s Genius in the Art Space of the Formula of Peace,” which currently showcases 2,101 artworks by children and professional artists. The highlight of this exhibition was the record-breaking painting, with a unique painting method invented by Ms. Olga.
Participants of the International Art Forum Final “Unbreakable Golden Easel” were invited from August 18th to 20th to create the record-breaking composition.
Hanna Krysiuk expressed gratitude to the organizers for supporting children’s creativity and to the children for their sincerity and immense talent.
