A new record in the “First-Time Achievements” category has been officially confirmed in Ukraine — the largest number of restored water supply facilities, including water towers and artesian wells equipped with water purification systems and automatic public dispensers providing free drinking water to residents.
The record was set by the charitable organization “Nebo Ukrainy” Charity Foundation in cooperation with its partner LUkraine asbl. Within one year of the full-scale war (2025), they restored 34 water supply facilities across different regions of the country.
These stations provide communities with clean drinking water, including those affected by fighting or damaged infrastructure where centralized water supply operates intermittently or is completely unavailable.
On November 21, 2025, during the award ceremony, Hanna Krysyuk, CEO of the World Record Book, congratulated the record holders and thanked the benefactors for their consistent support of communities in frontline regions.
The head of the “Nebo Ukrainy” Charity Foundation, Vladyslav Seniuta, expressed his gratitude to the partners, emphasizing the importance of the program for Ukraine’s recovery. He noted that this record is not just about numbers — it is about the thousands of people who receive access to clean water every day, even in the most difficult times.
