14-Year-Old Ukrainian Officially Becomes the Youngest in Ukraine to Certify C1 English Proficiency

14-year-old Artemiy Hrytsai has officially become the youngest Ukrainian to certify C1-level English proficiency. This follows his successful completion of the international Cambridge English: C1 Advanced exam in Warsaw, Republic of Poland.

This achievement was officially recognized by the Book of World Records, which registered a new Record of Ukraine under the categories “For the First Time” and “Education.” At the time his English language proficiency was certified, Artemiy was 14 years, 4 months, and 14 days old.

The C1 (Advanced) level confirms a high command of the English language, enabling him to study, work, and communicate fluently in an international environment.

In addition, the “MriyDiy Rybalskyi” Private Educational Institution, where Artemiy is a student, was awarded a diploma from the Book of World Records for its significant contribution and support in achieving this record. The official adjudication of the Ukrainian record and the presentation of diplomas to the record-holders were conducted by Yelyzaveta Omelchenko, a representative of the Book of World Records.

We congratulate Artemiy and his mentors on this outstanding achievement, which once again proves that Ukrainian youth are capable of setting records not only in sports or creativity, but also in knowledge.
